Samsung UN55C8000 55-Inch

- Samsung has decided to discontinue the 8 Series (Website has completely wiped them out). Couple of reasons for this is due to the fact that since not many people knew about the 8 series (more importantly this 8500 set), they were losing money off of something no one was buying. Another reason, is because they are now putting the majority of their 'eggs in 1 basket'. That 'Basket' being the new 3D Technology. Which leads me to believe that the next line of Samsung are NOT going to have as much focus & emphasis on picture quality such as this 8500 HDTV, but more focus & emphasis on the 3D Technology. One supporting fact: Samsung has yet to deny the possibility that NONE of the 2010 models will have Local Dimming - which is one of the reasons why this 8500 set is (and still is) the best LED/ LCD on the market today. Instead all of the new 2010 models will go back to Edge-Lit LED backlighting, which is a step backwards.

- My advice? We all know this new 3D Technology is not going to be the best the 1st time around and within a year or 2 years that 'new' 3D HDTV will then become outdated. This 8500 set is the Best LCD/ LED HDTV out there and through the trail and errors of the new 3D technology, this 8500 will still be an HDTV to reckon with. If you see it at a good price, buy it before there's no more.

Samsung UN55C7000 55-Inch

There is a lot of debate about whether the Touch of Color Red Design is a good thing or bad thing. Also, you'll see on last year's models that some people claim it's barely noticeable while some people claim it's a major game changer. My TV sits on a black TV stand in a spot in the room that sits in the shade -- I can barely see the red color. However, I feel that if you were to shine a lot of light on it, it would quickly become very noticeable.

The bezel is not quite as thick as I thought it looked in the Amazon.com pictures (which are Samsung's official PR shots). There is a somewhat "fat" pointed chin which I don't think looks too terrible. If you look at the pictures you'll notice that the glass of the bezel extends about half an inch beyond the actual TV bezel, I kind of like it. The neck of the stand is a glass pillar and very nice looking. The stand itself is surprisingly deep compared to the TV stand, but, again, not a bad thing, it's just hard to see in the pictures.

The built in TV controls sit on the bottom right hand corner of the bezel and are impossible to see from more than a foot away. It's a good thing for watching movies, but when I told somebody how to lower the volume on the TV, they couldn't find the buttons. I should also note that the buttons are touch sensitive there's no tactile way to find them or get feedback when pressing them. To the right of the buttons is a red light that turns on when the remote is pressed or the TV controls are pressed. It is otherwise always off unless the TV is in standby.

I should point out that the TV is very glossy and during very dark scenes it is absolutely necessary to shade your windows. Even when the not in dark scenes, I found that the bezel reflects what the screen does not. When I closed my blinds, the TV looks absolutely superb. The bezel is no longer noticeable, dark scenes are fantastic.

The remote is fairly straight forward. The design is just a tiny bit red like the TV bezel, buttons are nice and large and easy to memorize. The backlight button for the remote sits in the top right corner of it and when pressed illuminates the keys fairly well.

There are a good number of connectivity options which are thoroughly explained on the Amazon.com specs or on Samsung's website.

Positive Thinking

Because our thought process is constantly working, the Law of Attraction is constantly working as well. Many of our thoughts are at the unconscious level, so we're not always aware of what type of energy those thoughts may be creating.we always sending universe vibes

According to the Law of Attraction, if you want something enough and you truly believe it's possible for you to have it, you'll probably get it. But the same is true for negative thoughts.

If you spend a lot of time thinking on the things you don't want or fear, and you believe it's possible for you to experience them, it's just as likely they'll come your way. You can't avoid unpleasant things by hoping they don't happen.

Your unconscious is literal and produces negative energy the same as it does positive energy. It doesn't know the difference. Your unconscious mind doesn't understand "I don't want".

To truly achieve the positive benefits of the Law of Attraction, you have to become aware of what you're focusing your attention on.

Are you focusing on what you want? Or don't want? Do you have thoughts or beliefs that are contrary to what you want? If you truly want something, but feel you don't really deserve it, those thoughts will be translated into energy, and the Universe will "feel" that you don't deserve it ( universe vibes )

Becoming aware of what you're spending your energy on, enables you to change it. Allowing you to focus all your thoughts on the things you really want.
